Hi. Let's say for simplicity sake I am a budding travel journalist and photographer. I have been fortunate to be able to maintain traveling as part of my lifestyle be it for work or personal for some time now. I feel it is important to experience different people and places firsthand as it enhances our overall perspective on life. 

I grew up in Minneapolis. So I learned a lot early immersed in such a big city. It really broadened my horizons and provided me a taste of what is out there. It is important for me that I share my experience and contribute back what I have learned, and continue to learn in my travels. There is always something to take away and often a story to tell.

I feel photography and writing provide engaging platforms in being able to communicate the beauty, and the commonality.. as well the diversity, and the struggle that exists across mankind. I have always had a passion for both and have dabbled in each through my life. My experiences have taken me traveling the US by mobile home for a magazine, by sea as a photographer aboard a steam ship, or on foot as a journalist in the jungles of Costa Rica. 

It is really important for me that my work and my experience have an impact. That I am able to particpate and give back in ways making a positive contribution.

This is a year of transition.  Of directing my attention to taking on this pursuit maybe even full time. To study, connect, and grow as a writer and photographer. To share and learn from the many talented individuals doing what they love. And to be a good listener, friend, and father in the world.
